ACTION PLAN

In order to fulfill its mission, the José Guerrero Centre carries out its annual action plans in three distinct areas.

The permanent collection

The permanent collection brings together the tasks that fulfill the inherent functions of a museum institution – the conservation, cataloguing, restoration, research, dissemination and exhibition of its assets. Regarding the last function, exhibition is conceived not as a stable, but as a dynamic process. The selection of works on show will therefore vary periodically and can be presented in an innovative fashion, discovering different aspects and in comparison with other works, whether contemporary or not. The aim is to attract the most attention possible to the collection through the customary techniques and resources used for planning the temporary exhibitions that accompany it, since the Centre will continually present a representative selection of Guerrero’s work in one or more of its rooms.
